Swiss-based sports content expert Marius Schneider has a special interest in information flows, the tools and channels needed to manage them, the numerous parties involved, above all, the target audience. During his 18-year tenure as Head of Content Management Services at FIFA, he was involved with five FIFA World Cups and numerous other football events as well as leading all World Ranking projects. Also, he set up a football data legacy for world football’s governing body stretching from the early days of football to the 2014 FIFA World Cup. His professional experience includes Olympic Games projects (ORIS, INFO) as well as athletics, one of his favourite sports. Since 2012, he has been working as an independent sports media consultant.
