NewTek TriCaster 8000 Now Available

NewTek has announced the immediate availability of TriCaster 8000 for production and media publishing professionals who deliver live video for large, complex events, with full integration of social media production tools. TriCaster 8000 is the first live television production platform that allows producers to create multi-camera video programs for broadcasting, live streaming, and projection, while simultaneously publishing clips and stills to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Flickr.

The TriCaster 8000 model is an integrated and customizable multi-camera video production system, delivering scalability with third-party router support, recordable macros that can be triggered simultaneously, and extensive effects and graphics capabilities with eight M/E rows. This professional platform is designed to deliver complete live production of any scale, any vision, for distribution anywhere―and provides the ability to send program content to social media networks during live production.

As the producer’s or operator’s hands-on toolset for executing a live production, TriCaster 8000 is a publishing hub for all media coming into a program, all content and branding that happens on screen, and all destinations to where the program is output, with an operator piloting the entire show from a hardware control surface that comes standard with every system.

The TriCaster 8000 system, which includes the hardware control surface, is available now for a retail price of US$39,995. Prices may vary internationally. Educational pricing is also available.
