Al Jazeera tender for BeIN football production underway

Al Jazeera has launched a Europe-wide invitation to tender for the broadcast production of its live matches from French soccer’s top two leagues on its BeIN Sport channels in France, it has been reported. From next season onwards, Al Jazeera holds rights to eight matches per week from the top-tier Ligue 1 (and a league magazine show) and nine matches per week from the second-tier Ligue 2. The broadcaster has now launched a tender for the production of the games, according to French newspaper Le Parisien. For the complete story click here.
