Adisar Media of Madrid adds Quantel gear

Adisar Media, the Madrid full-service production and post production facility, has invested in a Quantel Pablo color correction and finishing system and a Quantel GenePool. The new Pablo instantly shares content with Adisar’s existing Quantel eQFX system via the new GenePool enabling Adisar and its clients to save time in post.

“It’s less than two years since we extended our business to offer post production alongside our existing production facilities,” says Adisar Media Producer Iván García Lázaro. “We chose Quantel to be the centerpiece of our post production operation, and it has been a great choice for us. Quantel systems are unique in offering great picture quality with all the tools we need for finishing and color correction in a single system.

“Quantel has helped us quickly build a reputation for producing highest quality results in the very short timescales demanded by primetime soap operas and TV movies. As a result our business continues to grow rapidly – for example, Globomedia, one of Europe’s leading production organizations, has recently chosen Adisar as a principal supplier of post production services,” Iván García Lázaro adds.

“With this increase in business, it was a natural choice to add a second Quantel suite, with the GenePool enabling us to work on the same project simultaneously in both rooms where required. It’s all instant – no media moves, no copies are made and the project history remains live. This shared workflow dramatically reduces post production timescales, and not surprisingly is already a big hit with our customers,” Iván García Lázaro concludes.
